On her eleventh birthday, something terrible happened and now Sara has no family, no home, and not a penny in the world... "And you're never going back there. Your home is with me now. MR BEAN

I read "MR BEAN". I've watched it on the TV. On TV, he had few scenes to talk, so I thought it was strange to read the book. "Mr Bean had a great week in Los Angeles. There were only one or two accidents!" These sentences made me laugh. We can know about he always get involved in many accidents from these sentences. Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp

イメージ
I read "Aladdin and Enchanted Lamp" I've watched the film of it. I really like the film. So I want to read the book. In a city in Arabia there lives a boy called Aladdin. He is poor and often hungry, but one day he finds an old lamp. When he rubs the lamp, smoke comes out of it, and then out of the smoke comes a magical jinnee. With the jinnee's help, Aladdin is soon rich, with gold and jewels and many fine things. But can he win the love of the Sultan's daughter, the beautiful Princess Badr-al-Budur? "When the Sultan looked out of the window and saw Aladdin's palace again, he was a happy man." From that day, Aladdin and Badr-al-Budur lived happily in their palace. This book is interesting. This book made me want to watch the film again. Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp: Stage 1 (Bookworms Series) 著者 : JudithDean Oxford Univ Pr 発売日 : 2008-01-01 ブクログでレビューを見る»

Romeo and Juliet

イメージ
I read "Romeo and Juliet". This story is so famous so I want to read in English. This story is really sad. "Love helped me to fly over the walls. No stone walls can keep love out. Love can do anything it wants. So your relatives can't stop me." Romeo said that. From this scene we can know how he loves Juliet. We gave the opportunity how important love is. I'm glad to read this book in the class. It's very interesting. The Elephant Man

イメージ
I read "The Elephant Man".  One day in 1884, Dr Fredrick Treves saw a picture in the window of a shop near the hospital. He stopped in front of the shop and looked at the picture. It was a horrible, ugly picture. There was a man  in the picture, but he didn't look like you and me. And Dr Fredric opened the door and went in. There was a dirty man in the shop. He was interested in the man and decided to take the man to the hospital. The man's name was Joseph Merrick. And this changed his fate.... "He tried to sleep on his back that night, but his heavy head came off the bed, and he broke his neck. He died very quickly."  These sentences made me sad. He couldn't sleep like us because of his enormous head. I thought he want to sleep just like us.  I recommend this book because it may makes more kind to people. If you interested in this book, please look for it. The Elephant Man (Oxford Bookworms Library. True Stories. Stage 1) 著者 : TimVic

William Shakespear

Today, I read "William Shakespeare" . The narrator of this book is Shakespeare's friends. This book is talking about his lifetime. We can read this book to find out who he was. We know the facts of his life, but we can only guess at his hopes, his fears, his dream. I want to introduce you two quotes what I like.   "He always had his nose in a book." They were friends, until the day William Shakespeare died. They met nearly every day, and Shakespeare taught the friend a lot about books and poetry and writers. I recommend this book because it's easy to read! And we can know about Shakespeare well. If you interested in this book, please check it out!
