The Princess Diaries (2005)

This week I read The Princess Diaries. This book is fiction. I like this story because it was interesting to read. I wrote down three quotes and will discuss them. The first one is
"I feel OK about this. I'm happy because my mom is happy." (p.12) 
I like this sentence because my parent loves someone else is very weird and sad, not to mention my mom is dating my teacher. I could imagine her feeling. The second one is
"I can't have any more children. You're my only child, Mia. So you are now my heir. When I die, you wil be the ruler of Genovia." (p.15) 
In this sentence, her dad, Philippe Renald, told Mia to become a ruler after his death. These words changed her life. The last one is
"My best friend hates me. I'm fourteen and I've never had a date. I'm too tall and too thin. And I'm the princess of Genovia." (p.41) 
I like these sentences because She had nothing but she had honor. It made me something sad.
 I want to recommend this book. These are several reasons. First, the story made me various feelings. I wanted to keep reading. Also, this story made into a movie. I wanted to watch this. About the language difficulty---it was easy to read but a longer book. I give this book 7 stars out of 10.

Pocahontas

  This week, I read "Pocahontas". This is a book about an woman who prevented war during two countries. When I started to read this book, I thought she would get married with John Smith who is a English leader, but they didn't get marry, and Pocahontas got marrired with another man.      "I loved you so much, but now I have a son and a husband, and they love me. You and I cannot be friends. Goodbye, John Smith."(p,39) This is Pocahontas's serif. I thought this part is interesting, because she blames him over and over, and I can understand her feeling. I couldn't understand Smith's feeling, and I was surprised at an unexpected development. This story was made into a movie by disney. KUNG FU PANDA HOLIDAY

  Po try to cook at the Jade palace at winter festival. He can't cook very well. So he asked his father to cook at the palace, but he refuse it. Po's father said, "At Winter Festival I always cook dinner for family and friends." I thought Po should spend with his family and friends,  and his father looked sad. After that, he was helped by his friends, so they could cook  at the palace. And Po helps his father, everyone is happy☺ They should spend time with their favorite people at winter festival.

This week I read Australia and New Zealand. This book tells us what countries Australia and New Zealand are, the history of Australia and New Zealand, indigenous people, animals, nature, famous people and so on. I'll show you what I was interested in Australia is a big country. It's 6th largest country all over the world. The journey from Perth in the west to Sydney in the east takes about four hours by plane. If you walk all around Australia along the coast, you will travel 25,760km.  Uluru (Ayers Rock) ・ One of the most beautiful things you can see in Australia. ・ The length is 3km and the height is 348m, but it continues to 2100m underground. ・ In the evening, the yellow color changes to gold, red, and sometimes purple.
