The Rainbow Machine

The children pushed, but it was no good. The kitty was too big, and it was far too heavy. Suddenly, it began to rain even though the sun was shining. (p.14)
Today I read “The Rainbow Machine”.
It was raining, but the sun was shining at the same time. The children looked up and saw a rainbow across the sky. It was a very big lorry because on the back was a very big machine. The machine made rainbows and was called The Rainbow Machine.
While it was going along, the rainbow makers got the machine ready. They pressed a button and the rainbow shot out of the machine.
The lorry stuck in the mad. The wheels spun round and round and the lorry sank deeper and deeper. The children helped. The children found the rainbow machine. 
Something had gone wrong. The sky was turning red. The rainbow machine had to bleach the sky. The sky had turned white.....

This story was a little scared. It was not so fun for me but the rainbow was beautiful.

Pocahontas

  This week, I read "Pocahontas". This is a book about an woman who prevented war during two countries. When I started to read this book, I thought she would get married with John Smith who is a English leader, but they didn't get marry, and Pocahontas got marrired with another man.      "I loved you so much, but now I have a son and a husband, and they love me. You and I cannot be friends. Goodbye, John Smith."(p,39) This is Pocahontas's serif. I thought this part is interesting, because she blames him over and over, and I can understand her feeling. I couldn't understand Smith's feeling, and I was surprised at an unexpected development. This story was made into a movie by disney. KUNG FU PANDA HOLIDAY

  Po try to cook at the Jade palace at winter festival. He can't cook very well. So he asked his father to cook at the palace, but he refuse it. Po's father said, "At Winter Festival I always cook dinner for family and friends." I thought Po should spend with his family and friends,  and his father looked sad. After that, he was helped by his friends, so they could cook  at the palace. And Po helps his father, everyone is happy☺ They should spend time with their favorite people at winter festival.

This week I read Australia and New Zealand. This book tells us what countries Australia and New Zealand are, the history of Australia and New Zealand, indigenous people, animals, nature, famous people and so on. I'll show you what I was interested in Australia is a big country. It's 6th largest country all over the world. The journey from Perth in the west to Sydney in the east takes about four hours by plane. If you walk all around Australia along the coast, you will travel 25,760km.  Uluru (Ayers Rock) ・ One of the most beautiful things you can see in Australia. ・ The length is 3km and the height is 348m, but it continues to 2100m underground. ・ In the evening, the yellow color changes to gold, red, and sometimes purple.
