This week, I read "Food around the world".       Our body needs lots of different nutrients such as proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. "Proteins are also important for healthy hair and fingernails." I don't know very well about nutrient's effect for body, but especially I was surprised that proteins are important for fingernails. Eating a balanced diet with a lot of nutrients is necessary.      Some of our favorite foods have a long history. 5,500 years ago, Native Americans made popcorn by cooking the corn over a fire. People enjoyed eating the hot popcorn. This is popcorn's history. Native Americans also invented chocolate about 2,000 years ago. First they dried cacao seeds and crashed. Then they added chili peppers and water, so  "the chocolate drink wasn't sweet-it was bitter!" I didn't know the fact. I learned many things from the book. Aladdin grabbed his  dagger and killed him. (p.45) Today I read "ALADDIN and HIS MAGICAL LAMP". I watched the movie "Aladdin". So I wanted to read this book. It was a little different from the movie but this book was interesting. If you watched the movie, I recommend this book.   This week, I read "Jumanji". I have watched this movie so far, so I could understand rough story.       This is very exciting story, because the characters go into the game world. But I think movie is more interesting than book. So, I recommend you to watch the movie, and after that, you should read this book.   Po try to cook at the Jade palace at winter festival. He can't cook very well. So he asked his father to cook at the palace, but he refuse it. Po's father said, "At Winter Festival I always cook dinner for family and friends." I thought Po should spend with his family and friends,  and his father looked sad. After that, he was helped by his friends, so they could cook  at the palace. And Po helps his father, everyone is happy☺ They should spend time with their favorite people at winter festival.

  One day Henry and his dog, Mudge played in their yard. Then, they found a rare blue flower, Henry wanted to pick it, but he stood with Mudge. He wanted to pick it again, so he made Mudge pick the flower. And Mudge ate it, so Henry was so mad.but... "Henry knew it wasn't his snow glory. He knew it wasn't anybody's snow glory. Just a thing to let grow. And if someone ate it, it was just a thing to let go." I think so, I'm glad because Henry stopped feeling mad. And a blue petal fell from Mudge's mouth. It's cute!  Just right. Just right. A big bear and a small bear are so cute. I learned from this book that I have to find out what works for me. This book is so short. So, easy to read this book. Thank you.
